(at the Hawaii Yacht Club, after dinner, on our way out. There is an approx. 13-ft tall Christmas tree, beautifully adorned- like BOOM KANANI! As we approach the front gate to get to the parking lot, a random man holds the door open for us out of kindness, I suppose.)
Bob: Is this tree real? NO, it's fake! And it looks so ugly!
Georgette: Let's go home, Bob. That was a very beautiful tree.
B: Those artificial trees were made to look perfectly symmetrical! I don't understand it.
G: No one asked for your opinion, Bob! Jesus Christ. Shit, Mizuki, and you thought you had awful relatives that didn't understand you.
B: All I stated was the obvious, Georgette, please excuse me.
G: If you want a poor opinion Mizuki, you can always call your Uncle Bob!

Ogawa san has two daughters
It’s finally happening. My dad realizes he has two daughters. For over 8 yrs, he’s financed his two daughters of the same last name. He’s supported us by his own means.
Yesterday when I spent about an hour and a half with my dad, he mistakenly called me Lani, and when Lani came to join us soon after, he mistakenly called her Mii. The four of us laughed, my stepmom included.
